Press Conferences
Meetings between doctors/experts and journalists remains the best way to publicize news.
Intermedia arranges for an average of 40-50 press conferences a year, each time selecting journalists to invite on the basis of the topic to deal with and the specific communication needs.

Intermedia mailing list includes about 5.000 journalists who work at different levels in all Italian media: agencies, radios, televisions, daily newspapers, magazines, medical and scientific information, and websites.

During our meetings, journalists are given a press folder and a cd rom/usb key with a press release including the main news of the event, speakers’ talk summaries and copious background information. The documents delivered can be used both for immediate release and filing.

Press releases
Publicizing news, commenting upon an event just happened, informing about the latest research and therapeutic news: a press release is certainly the fastest and most direct way to reach journalists.

Our colleagues need information which has to be not only punctual and detailed but also scientifically incontestable, critically tested and therefore extremely reliable.

During these years of activity, Intermedia has achieved and enjoyed the esteem of all the major national media which rely on our press production to release articles, reports, surveys and coverages.

Intermedia plans, issues and distributes scientific updating volumes and divulgative publications, such as the “Libro Bianco dell’Oncologia Italiana” (the White book of Italian Oncology), “Il fenomeno cancro” (The cancer  phenomenon), “Linee Guida AIOM” (AIOM Guidelines).
In 2009 Intermedia presented - as author and publisher - a book, sold in several bookshops, titled "Acrobate - A 50 anni dalla pillola anticoncezionale, 40 dalla rivoluzione sessuale e 30 dalla legge 194, 20 ritratti di donne, in bilico fra la voglia di volare e il frigo da riempire".
Intermedia, in cooperation with Giunti Editore, coordinates a book series focused on health matters, and it is in charge of all the editorial part. The first book of the series, published in November 2009, is "Ho vinto io. Guarire dal tumore dal seno, testimonianze ed interventi".

The website of the Italian Medical Oncologists. Included into the web portal of the Italian Association of Medical Oncologists (AIOM), the web site aims to divulge information  mainly to people.
It is subdivided into three areas.
The first is a divulgative area for people needing information about the main tumors affecting adults and children, therapies and reference cancer centers. 
The second is a scientific area addressed to doctors.
The third part is addressed to journalists, who can find news, interviews to experts, comments and releases by Italian Oncologists.
